 For millions of people with vision loss, the average wrist watch is nearly useless. Fortunately, there are a wide array of watches available specifically designed for people with low vision. With the simple press of a button, talking watches reveal the time, date, day, and year in an articulate human voice (some watches offer a male voice, some a female voice, and some offer the option of both.) Watches with large, bold numbers and lettersare designed for wearers with low vision.

 The goal of most relief operations is to assist with first response efforts and to assist with education and infrastructure development when possible to help communities help themselves. One of the most pressing needs in all countries affected by natural or manmade disasters is to reach those living in remote areas. Medical support is a form of child support often provided as health care insurance, although it can take other forms such as additional amounts to cover a portion of ongoing medical bills or as reimbursement for uninsured medical costs.

 If you are visually impaired or blind (or caring for someone who is), modifying your house to fit your specific needs can make all the difference. It can allow you to move around more easily and complete day to day tasks in less time. While everyone is different and there are varying degrees of vision loss, there are usually fairly simple, low-cost changes you can make to the spaces you spend the most time in.

Nevertheless, it is clear that they diminish the quality of life not only for blind persons, but for their families as well.
